Look! It’s a dress from the 21st Century! Milly, to be exact. But, let’s face it, it looks like something Mary Richards would wear to work at WJM in 1972. Her hair would be bigger, and her legs would be better, but I think she would bang out this look with an orange belt, just like me. Mary rocked orange like a champ.
I have to say that this dress doesn’t seem to have a lot of traction with anyone but me. That is, no one likes it (at least on me), but me. Does this bother me? Uh, well, I am mentioning here so I guess it does a little. I just tell myself that no one but me understands the brilliance of the dress. Before you laugh, tell me the last time you made it through the day without at least one juicy rationalization. That’s what I thought.
Are you kidding? You look amazing today – can’t wait to see you tomorrow – and what you will be wearing – now I’ll have to really give thought to what I put on tomorrow morning . . . .
I’m diggin ya big! A phrase I learned from …. you.
PS, you’re hotter than MTM.
Cathy, what else do you remember about me from undergrad that I have totally forgotten??! Don’t answer that. Thanks to you and Caroline for the props and for reading!
